Next Session starts December 1st
Class size limited to four dogs
Orientation (no dogs) December 1st at 7pm
Six group class sessions
Dogs work in sight of each other on a variety of different activities, from tug, popcorn toss, and find-it games, to loose-leash walking and down-stay practice, to fun agility and confidence building exercises. A balance of energetic and calm behaviors work together to keep your dog focused and active… not reactive!

All work is done on leash. Fall-back barrier stations are available. This program is designed for teams who have completed our Leash Reactivity Rehab program and are ready for New Challenges.

We do occasionally take boisterous and somewhat reactive dogs directly into  New Challenges class. For dogs who have difficulty with the distraction of other dogs in regular classes who would like practice working around other dogs, New Challenges can be an option.  Please call us if you are not sure which class is right for your dog.

If you don’t think your leash reactive dog could cope with the situation in the above photo, you and your dog may benefit more from Leash Reactivity Rehab. It is our intensive eight week program designed to give your dog a longer fuse and the ability to move on to more advanced work, like this New Challenges class and others.

Dogs in New Challenges are practicing known behaviors in more and more challenging environments.  Dogs taking this class should already have a reliable response to at least sit or down, and have a favorite trick or behavior (hand-touch, shake, take-a-bow, etc) that they enjoy.
