Guy Penning has been involved in IPO and Belgian Ring for decades as a training and trial decoy. Axel Van der Borght is a certified Belgian Ringsport trial decoy. They enjoy training dogs and coaching for Mondioring, Belgian Ring, IPO, Agility and reality/working. They have held seminars in Denmark and the UK, as well as coaching visiting trainers who come to work with them in Belgium from as far away as Australia. Axel has been published in Hondensport & Sporthonden and Police K-9 Magazine.

A full weekend with Axel & Guy dedicated to training for Mondioring and suitwork: On Saturday, they’ll demonstrate clicker training techniques for the MondioRing exercises plus familiarize us with the Belgian Ring program. On Sunday, they’ll tackle each participants’ most stubborn training & competition problems. Solutions offered by Axel & Guy are designed to preserve the working relationship you share with your dog, so bring your toughest challenges.

These weekday clinics will be filled with tips for gaining focus, tug/ball reward, send-outs, targeting, call-offs and outs, developing confident puppies and young dogs, and more, with plenty of time alloted for registrants to work on exercises and issues most important to them. A full weekend with Axel & Guy dedicated to the sport of Schutzhund/IPO: On Saturday, they’ll demonstrate clicker training techniques for the obedience and protection exercises. On Sunday, they’ll tackle each participants’ most stubborn Schutzhund competition problem areas, plus offer solutions designed to maintain your dog’s motivation and present to the judge a willing and driven working dog.
